Have you updated your phone system since you opened your business? Do you have the bare minimum of features needed to get your job done, or are you struggling under the weight of too many useless elements you don’t use? The Xima software suite is designed to change the way that you use your business phones and equip you with the data that you need when you need it.

Chronicall

Chronicall is the core of the Xima software suite. It offers a broad range of features including custom call reporting, call recording and real-time updates. The standard reports are designed to give you the basic information you need to effectively meet the needs of your business and your customers. The 40 types of standard reports include:

  • Hunt Group reports
  • Agent/extension reports
  • Caller ID reports
  • Inbound/Outbound Call reports
  • Call cost reports
  • Time interval reports
  • Trunk/Line-reports

Beyond the basics, all of the Chronicall reports include unlimited supervisor logins, report scheduling, user access controls and detailed charts.

Custom Chronicall Reports

If you need specific information about your business and customers, the custom reports module allows you unlimited custom reports. The report type could include any of the following:

  • Agent
  • Account code
  • Call direction
  • Call report
  • Caller ID
  • Event type
  • Feature type
  • Group
  • Local number
  • System report
  • Time interval
  • Trunk

Once you choose the designation for your report, you can select from filters and values to get exactly what you need. Confused by all of the options available to you? Teltek and Xima Care are both available to help with tutorials and troubleshooting.

Xima’s VRTX Call Recording System

If you rely on accurate call recording, Xima’s VRTX (Voice Recording Technology) is the perfect solution. The VRTX system can be used by connecting the in-line hardware and your phone system and plugging it into your Chronicall server. This call recording technology will record everything and add it to the Chronicall recording library. Once they are added to the library, they will be easily accessible 24/7.

Cloud Technology for Your Business

Wednesday, April 27th, 2016
Cloud Computing Which tools are best for your business?

Let’s face it: businesses today require both literal and figurative desks. We check our email at home from our desktop computers, we send replies at the doctor’s office from our mobile devices, and we make phone calls from our cars. Even within the office itself, we are communicating electronically without always sitting at our desks. Thus, since our jobs travel with us, we need reliable, secure, affordable, and flexible access to our business on the go. However, it is the business we wish to manage, not the technology–its security, maintenance, and troubleshooting–that attends it.

Cloud technology, therefore, becomes a benefit to a business of nearly any size. What is cloud technology, exactly? Essentially, it is storage, infrastructure, and/or software as a service. Cloud technology means that you are allowing someone else to hold your data, which can be accessed from a variety of locations, not just on the computer or device on which it was created.

One size does not fit all, so you have the freedom to choose the tools that help you communicate most effectively with your clients and colleagues, keep your bottom dollar in mind, and suit both the current yet evolving vision of your company. Maybe your company wants to explore cloud-based teams, employ more people who work remotely, or provide more communication flexibility within the facility.

This is where Teltek can help. Teltek can connect your business to cloud services offered by those companies such as Zultys and Avaya; devices such as the Cisco Meraki MX60, a cloud-managed router line, suitable for small business of up to 25 users; and Avaya IP Office Teleworker, a tool that allows businesses to expand their labor forces by employing people to work remotely.

Regardless of the communication system your business needs, Teltek can both advise and coordinate for those needs.

BYODeskphone?

Tuesday, June 30th, 2015

In a recent blog post, we highlighted NEC’s  new approach to the desk phone with a “tablet like experience.” Avaya has another solution, let’s call it BYODeskphone?  The E100 Series aims to combine the using your favorite device (tablet, or smart phone) with your desk phone for an integrated mobile experience.

Avaya helps Carlo’s Bakery take the Cake Boss!!

Thursday, May 7th, 2015

Check out the video to learn how Avaya helps Carlo’s Bakery take the Cake Boss!!   Picture it, you’re a family owned and operated business that’s been going strong since 1910.  You have a great reputation in your neighborhood (and in NYC which is right across the river) and you want to grow.  You’re offered and accept the marketing opportunity of a lifetime.  Now the phone is ringing of the hook!

That’s exactly what happened to Carlo’s Bakery.  Sound familiar?  Who doesn’t love culinary reality shows? We enjoy watching them and I assure you there’s more than just the 15 minutes of fame that drives individuals and businesses to agree to have their operations turned upside down for camera crews.  Carlo’s Bakery, in Hoboken NJ  saw the opportunity when TLC wanted to feature them on their reality show,  Cake Boss.

Cake Boss made Master Baker Bartolo Jr. “Buddy” and their brand household names.  After the first show aired, their phones were ringing off the hook and it became apparent that they had outgrown their existing phone and communications  systems. Add an aggressive growth plan to the mix including scaling up to 14 stores and 900 employees by the end of 2014 and the challenge become exponentially greater.

How do you expand into other markets and scale bakery operations when your product is  highly personalized, perishable and sometimes tricky to transport?  How do you keep your “hands in the dough” at 14 locations in multiple states.  Of course you need to hire good people to manage and execute your vision but to keep a hands on approach with clients and staff you need to stay connected.

Avaya provided stability and scalability and  allowed Carlo’s to manage the influx of communications from potential clients as well as its growing internal communications from purchasing to delivery.  Check out the video to hear “Buddy” share how Avaya helps Carlo’s Bakery take the Cake Boss!

Is your business outgrowing your existing phone and communications systems?  Teltek can help!  Give us a call to discuss your current needs and your future plans and we’ll help migrate you to a more stable, scalable and usable model for your business.

Gartner recognizes Avaya for its 14th consecutive year!!

Tuesday, July 1st, 2014

Avaya has been named as a leader Contact Center Infrastructure for 14th  consecutive year  by Gartner in Magic Quadrant.  With this year’s recognition, Avaya is now the only vendor to have been positioned as a leader for this many years running (every year since its inception, in fact.)

Rather than having to piece together a solution from many disparate sources, the report found that buyers of contact center infrastructure’s preference is to  work with a  single source to help ease integration, cradle-to-grave tracking, integrated reporting and system management.  Companies are drawn to the “full stack” of customer experience management solutions and their ability to support an omni-channel service strategy with on-premise, hybrid or cloud based solutions, thereby being able to offer full featured flexible solutions that respond to the needs of today’s businesses.

It is because of this strategy, consistent performance and leadership that Teltek has partnered w/ Avaya to provide turnkey solutions for our clients.  Make sure that your contact center infrastructure is giving you the features and functionality to set you up for success.  Give us a call for an analysis of your business’s needs and choose which solution is best for you.
